New Student and Pre-K Enrollment for Forney ISD

Enrollment for new students to Forney ISD will begin on Monday, June 27, 2016.

High School students will register at the campus they will be attending. High school students who live north of Hwy 80 will register at North Forney High School; high school students who live south of Hwy 80 will register at Forney High School.

Elementary and middle school students will register at the Forney ISD Administration Building located at 600 S. Bois D’ Arc starting on Monday, June 27 through Thursday, July 28. (District offices are closed on Fridays and the week of July 4-July 8).

Beginning Monday, August 1, all new students will register at their home campus.

Pre-Kindergarten Registration

Pre-Kindergarten enrollment will begin on Monday, June 27. Pre-K students can enroll at the Forney ISD Central Administration Building located at 600 S. Bois d'Arc, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Beginning on August 2, all Pre-K enrollment will be held at Central Administration on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 12 noon.

A child must be at least four years of age on or before September 1, 2016 and fit at least one of the following criteria:

Be unable to speak and comprehend the English language
Be educationally disadvantaged, which means a student eligible to participate in the national free or reduced-price lunch program
Be the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who is ordered to active duty by proper authority; or is the child of a member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
Be in, or have been in, the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) following an adversary hearing held as provided by Section 262.201, Family Code

Parent/Guardian Driver's License
Child’s Social Security Card
Immunization Record
Residency Verification
Copy of current utility bill with FISD physical address. (Gas, water, electric, etc.)
Copy of final home contract or closing/settlement statement or lease agreement, with FISD physical address.
Mortgage statement
Last four current paycheck stubs (or)
Tax statement (or)
State economically disadvantage verification (SNAP/TANF/SDPIR)
